Terms of Service

1. About the service

GATE Prep WA ("we", "us") provides an online practice platform for students preparing for the Western Australia Academic Selective Entrance Test (ASET) / GATE programs. Access is offered through free and paid plans described on our Pricing page.

This service is for educational practice only. We are not affiliated with ACER, the WA Department of Education, or any official GATE program. Practice scores and feedback are not official exam results.

2. Accounts

• Parents create and manage family accounts; students practice under a linked profile.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans and one-off products are billed in Australian dollars (AUD) through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout.
• Purchases apply to the selected student profile shown at checkout. Plan benefits are tied to that student account.
• To cancel a subscription, email us at support@gateprepwa.com from your parent account email. Access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds are handled under our separate Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share account credentials or resell access to the platform.
• Copy, scrape, or redistribute question content or materials.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
• Use the service in any unlawful way.

5. Content and availability

We may update questions, features, and pricing to improve the product. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or technical issues may occasionally affect the service.

6. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" for practice purposes. To the extent permitted by Australian law, we exclude warranties that the service will meet every individual preparation goal or improve exam outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant product in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
